About the Awards Show
The National Design Awards is a Cooper Hewitt initiative launched in 2000 as an official project of the White House Millennium Council. The awards and its associated public programs seek to increase national awareness of the impact of design in our everyday life.
On April 3, 2025, join the 2025 Award winners, design leaders, and museum patrons for the National Design Awards 25th Anniversary Celebration including a seated dinner and our first-ever House Party, which welcomes design lovers and museum friends for music, sweet treats, and encounters with National Design Award winners from the last 25 years.
Between now and then, you can expect to see our programming calendar populated throughout the year with the contributions and voices of our roster of over 200 renowned winners from the past 25 years.

About the House Party
Join us for a House Party in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the National Design Awards.
This celebratory night of cocktails, dessert, and music convenes design lovers and museum friends in honor of the 2025 winners of the National Design Awards.
All proceeds from the National Design Awards support Cooper Hewitt’s mission to share untold stories of design, to inspire lifelong learners, and to empower new generations through design.
Featuring sounds by Razor-N-Tape and live performance by AMOC* (American Modern Opera Company).
